The Beat of Her Heart: Life is Full

There have been many blessings that have entered my life recently. I have learned to rely on patience and to rely on the Lord in all that I do. I find that when I think I can get through things on my own is often when I need to turn to Him the most. I am preparing to enter into my career. Something that I have prepared for for over 4 years of university schooling, and honestly my entire life. If you know me, you know that children and I seem to be natural friends. Teaching, and even just being in front of people speaking is something I was blessed with. And now here I am. I am going to be an educator. I teacher. A friend. A help. A coach. An adoptive mother. And a loving pair of arms to encircle children with love and warmth. Shelter from the storms they face. I have a huge load on my plate, I am frightened at the load of this responsibility, I am young and fearful. Yet, I am brave, I am an instrument, and I am so capable.

My family and dear friends have been reminding my of that daily. They have been encouraging me and comforting me as I express my feelings of inadequacy and weakness. They have loved me and hugged me through tears and endless preparation.

And now as I sit and reflect I realize all of the many blessings around me. I find strength in seeing the tender mercies that surround me daily. Many of the tender mercies are PEOPLE. People that bless my life daily through old or new friendships, family ties, or sweet romance. Each plays a crucial part in my daily living, and I would not be able to continue on without their love and support. Thank goodness for a life full of PEOPLE. Friends. Family. Love. I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank goodness for the opportunity I have been given (at such a young age--fresh out of college) to teach children. To be an instrumental educator. Yes, life is full.
